Transmuting Unease

Feeling bad, sad, frustrated, aggravated, anxious, angry? Don't put on a Facebook Front, pretend you are always happy, and that your life is perfect because our lives are not that way. Accept the feeling and just sit with it. Rather than spinning stories around the feeling and dredging up past stories that feed the feeling, view the feeling as a friend, a visitor providing you the chance to transform the old pain energy into peace. Because if your mind is free to spin noisy, negative chatter around the feeling, the feeling will strengthen. But if you just observe the feeling, it will eventually dissipate itself, transformed into present energy.
